北京时间3月23日，《东方体育日报》撰文谈到了薛庆浩状态反弹一事。

本赛季虽然只踢了三轮，但薛庆浩如此“神扑”已经出现了好几次。首轮5比3赢大连英博的比赛，斯坦丘在第74分钟的直接任意球质量非常高，但薛庆浩的扑救质量更高。第二轮客场1比1平浙江的比赛，薛庆浩第16分钟连续上演两次神扑，先是将米特里策的射门扑出，然后又迅速起身扑出托利奇的补射。上半时补时阶段，瓜里拉帕小禁区线上接米特里策任意球后头球攻门，球直奔死角，但还是被薛庆浩扑出。
连续三场比赛贡献“神扑”，而且状态保持稳定，鲜有失误。薛庆浩相比上赛季确实有了不小的变化，申花球迷对他的态度也明显不同。上赛季有过的批评声大多发生了180度的转变。这其中有他个人的努力，同样也离不开球队给他的帮助。
